Military equipment operating out of a base is unlikely to malfunction - above represents abnormally frequent equipment failure.

It could very well be electronic interference between nation states or by a rogue actor trying to instigate direct conflict through false-flags. Whoever the culprit, they might be using a series of exploits in military systems or one quantum processor deployed skillfully.
