To me it's like this, our laws were set and to be upheld by all of us, the notion that we should be challenging the laws in reform is good sure but it's coming from these people(that influenced the media) that were invited to USSR and were asked "see things aren't bad here, when you go home, you should ask them why they don't do it like us here in russia. let's party!"

But that wasn't the point of our system, we had already agreed on boundaries that wern't to be critiqued, applying marxism (reform through critique) to our culture undermines it in that regard. We didn't come from Marxists!
