CDC losing battle

CDC quietly starting to pretend like this never happened: https://www.cdc.gov/features/hepatitis-b-vaccine/index.html
removed within the last 4 days.    that URL in the archive.org/web/ shows the recommendation from the CDC as it has been for 2 decades; "It’s hard to imagine putting your newborn through the pain of a shot. But a little stick early in life is an important first step to protecting your baby against a deadly disease. All babies should get the first shot of hepatitis B vaccine shortly after birth. This shot acts as a safety net, reducing the risk of getting the disease from moms or family members who may not know they are infected with hepatitis B.   "Before you bring your baby home, be sure he’s protected from Hepatitis B before leaving the hospital or birthing center."  So instead of testing mothers for HepB before birth as The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommended,  all babies have been getting a STD vaccination within first hour of birth regardless of indication from parents , for the past two decades . 'just in case' the parents carry it unknowingly  .
Now CDC looks like they are trying to pretend they never recommended that; probably because they are getting sued hard somewhere. Here are the actual ACIP recommendations that CDC will no doubt claim they were using all along; https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/67/rr/rr6701a1.htm   ACIP recommends all mothers are screened for HepB to determine which babies get the shot - ask any obstetrics nurse, did it really work that way?
